First, I lightly spray the back of my stencil with 3M Super 77 Adhesive and allow it to dry a few minutes until it is just slightly tacky. I then place it on my furniture and tape down the ends to help hold the stencil in place.

I use a palette knife to apply Re-Design with Prima's 3D Stencil Fiber Paste and then remove all the excess paste with my yellow spread tool. Pick up the stencil on both ends and slowly lift upwards to remove it. Allow the Fiber paste to dry overnight before taking a fine grit sandpaper to remove any sharp edges on your raised design.
