If I am adding decorative appliques to my furniture projects I usually pour my own resin molds when I can apply them to a relatively flat surface as shown in the 1st picture. I have my bombe on its side and although the side of my bombe is curved, the placement of my molds is at the top and bottom on flat surfaces.

I glue them and then weight them down with heavy objects to hold them in place until they dry.

The last picture shows the front bottom drawer of my bombe which is very curvy so I purchased 3 Wood U Bend molds, heated them up, and glued them down for a nice fit to the drawer curvature.
